Road Rules North AFrica - The Challenge
The entire region of North Africa, the Mediterranean Sea, Southern Europe and Southwest Asia have hit a major economic recession. You are appointed Economic Czar charged with the task of getting the economy growing again.
Find out what each country in the region produces or could produce. Make a plan allowing all nations in the region to trade with each other. They should all export one or more products and import several products. Some products they will not need to import because they can produce those products at home.
The Assignment
1. Make a visual showing how the trade will occur between the nations (on paper, posterboard, or a 3-D replica).
2. Make a legend using symbols to represent each product (just like in the Eastern Hemisphere book).
3. Write a two-page paper (typed, double spaced) explaining how your trade plan will work.
